"I would like to send a special thank-you to 2020 Community Sport for all the hard work and effort put in to table cricket. The feedback has been outstanding and we couldn't have done any of the competitions without you" Charlie Roebuck - Community Cricket Officer (Disability) Yorkshire Cricket Board

"Thanks for providing the afterschool cricket club this year. It has been very successful" Lisle Marsden School

"Thank you very much for supporting the above student during their placement at your organisation and for the hard work that you put into making the placement such a great success. Please pass on our thanks to all staff that were involved. The 30 day placement in the second year is an important part of the programme and gives students the opportunity to put theory into practice and gain valuable work experience as well as giving them background to complete their assignments. Thank you for giving the student the opportunity to gain this experience from your organisation"

Employability Advisor - Nottingham Trent University

"2020 community Sport have been very proactive with Table Cricket, taking it out into the heart of the community, using varied approaches suitable to the target groups. Involvement and outcomes achieved through their activities using Table Cricket have amazed staff and carers" Doug Williamson - Inventor of Table Cricket

"Massive thank you once again to 2020 Community Sport for delivering the Table Cricket at the Humber School Games Special School Multi-Sports Day! It's always by far the noisiest and most exciting event of the day and the kids absolutely LOVE IT! Neil and Jane are so professional whilst keeping it fun and action-packed for all the schools that take part. Thank you again and I hope you can come again next year!" Active Humber

"Just wanted to say thanks to you for a fantastic gifted and talented session tonight, the children are absolutely buzzing so hopefully we’ll see one or two attend club sessions" Craig Dobbs - Assistant Manager, NEL School Sports Partnership

"Blooming brilliant  - THANK YOU!" Sports Co-Ordinator, Kingsmill School

" Thanks Neil for taking the After-School Cricket Club at South Cave School. My son was reluctant to go initially, saying cricket was boring and he didn't like it, but after much persuasion agreed to go to the first session. He came home that night absolutely full of it! He loved it and couldn't wait to go back. He said it was so fun and talked about it constantly. He was so disappointed when the course ended. Please come back again soon" Jo McDonald - Mum to Thomas, aged 8

Having only recently finished my GCSE’s, in 2017 I was given the opportunity to take up a work experience with 2020 Community Sport in which I was able to help coach and observe various sporting activities alongside participants with a diverse range of abilities and needs. Such sporting activities took place in several geographical locations ranging from both indoor and outdoor settings. Taking part with this opportunity allowed me to develop a great understanding on being more aware to the ranging intellectual and physical disabilities in which so many strong and motivated individuals have. This not only allowing my awareness and knowledge to be broadened, also allowed me to find parts of myself and allow myself to build as a person. Not only have I been able to build as a person, both mentally and physically, this experience has also greatly contributed towards my Silver D of E award which I was finally able to achieve late last year. My appreciation towards 2020 Community Sport will never be great enough for the work that they do. Emilia Duton - Work Experience 2017

"THANK YOU so much for coming on Wednesday and making the day the success that it was! All the schools had an amazing time and the day itself gives such a sense of satisfaction knowing we are making those special children's day!The table cricket goes down SO well and that's why we are so grateful you come back year after year and deliver it for us! Thank YOU guys for once again making it a roaring success!I couldn't pull together an event like that without the support and enthusiasm of lovely people like yourself and Neil!" Jo Macdonald - Development Manager (School Games) Active Humber

"We have had fantastic feedback from both schools about the Chance2Shine sessions you provided. Not just good but an explanation of how  GREAT they have been. So I just wanted to say thank you for this. Rob Johnson - Yorkshire Cricket Board

" The kids had an amazing time and as ever, Table Cricket proved the most popular!  Its amazing how simple a concept it is (no offence!), but how much they love it and I think that’s credit to you two who are so lovely with the children. It has been a pleasure working with you over the years and you two are always a ray of sunshine. Thank you so much for coming and making it so great. It was the first event we've had solely for the PMLD cohort as part of the MATP . Everyone involved was delighted just to get these kids out to represent their school, see other schools and do something different."  Jo McDonald  - School Games Development Manager -  Active Humber

"We have been lucky enough to have sports sessions provided by 2020 community sport. Everyone thoroughly enjoys these sessions and Neil and Jane have built up our resilience. We have been introduced to lots of different sports that we have never done before such as indoor curling, blind cricket, and bowls. Josh really enjoyed blind cricket even though ‘the ball was going all over the place.’ We are quite a competitive group with Izzy being champion at table cricket quoting, ‘I beat everyone’ and Biff saying, ‘I am not a sport person, but I am now an indoor curling champion.’ One of the young people in the group, Rachel, has joined her local bowls club after playing in the sports sessions because she enjoyed it so much. Kevin thought playing bowls and croquet at People’s Park was a ‘fantastic team building session’. Overall, we have all gained a lot from these sports sessions and we continue to enjoy trying new things, especially now that we have just got some new equipment which enabled us to play dodgeball in our last session."  Horizon Youth Zone
